My first roller coaster
A time i will never forget is the time i accomplished my goal that i had set a few years ago, which was to go on a roller coaster.
I was really excited about going on my first rollercoaster.
As soon as the train doors opened i jumped out and quickly ran to the back of port aventura world (which is the name of the theme park) towards the largest rollercoasters.
when i looked up i was amazed by how tall they went. i had to bend my neck so much that it actually hurt to see the top of the enormous ride.
I started to feel a little sick.
The rollercoaster was called the dragon khan or something like that.
when i got into line, the first cart was about to leave. it started to make a really loud rumble and the ground started gently shaking for a few seconds.
When it was my turn to go on the rollercoaster, i eagerly ran to the front of the cart and on the side so i could see the most out of everyone.
I started shaking with excitement, a few seconds later we were off!!
we slowly started climbing really high which made it seem like the world was shrinking. When we reached the top, the people on the ground were just tiny dots.
we started going down the tallest part of the rollercoaster, it scared me and made me think we would fall. as soon as we started going down it felt like my stomach would fly out of my mouth!
I had the same stomach flying out of mouth feeling for a few seconds which seemed like hours. As soon as we reached the bottom of the rollercoaster we zoomed up a loop. my head instantly flew down ad bashed my chest, i could only bring my head up once whicch really hurt but it flew back down again.
When we were going upside down, it felt like we were going to fall out of the thing!
the rest of the roller coaster was just heaps of oops the size of the first one, and there were a few small drops that gave me the same stomach flying out of mouth feeling as the first drop, but the drops were tiny compared to the first drop.
When we got out of the cart it felt like the ground was moving under my feet because I was so dizzy. "I have finally achieved my goal of going on a roller coaster for the first time!!!" I excitedly told my mum.
"Time for the next rollercoaster!!"
I will never forget that moment partly because of how dizzy I got, but mostly because of the fact that goi ng on a rollercoaster had been my goal for a few years and I was only nine when I went, and it was really exciting!
